Physical Properties

Appearance: White odorless  crystals

pH (2% sol.) : 9-9.1 

Solubility: soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, ether & acetone.

 Conform to BP 93; USP XXIII.

Handling:  

Wear appropriate NIOSH / MSHA approved respirator, chemical resistance gloves. safety goggles, other protective clothing. Do not breath vapor. do not get in eye, on skin, on clothing

HEALTH HAZARDS:

 Avoid overdosage intake or eye contact.

FIRST AID:

 In case of eye contact, wash with  plenty of water for 15 min. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and plenty of water. In case of inhalation, remove to  fresh air.

Packing:

 50 kg woven plastic bag.

Storage:

 In tightly closed container, in a dry and cool place.

Decomposition Products:

 toxic fumes of PO.
