Borax Powder

Composition:  

Natri tetraboras; Natrium Boricum; purified Borax; Sodium Biborate or Pyroborate; Sodium borate; Sodium tetraborate.

Properties:

Color: Colorless crystals or white powder.

Odor: odorless.

Solubility: 1 in 20 of water, 1 in less than 1 of boiling water.

Action and uses:

Borax has a mild antiseptic and Fungicidal properties, also is used externally as mild astringent and as an emulsifier in creams. It is used together with boric acid in preparing buffers.

Backing:

Jar containing 250 gm and 500 gm.
