Castor Oil

Physical Properties:

 It is a fixed oily Liquid,

Color: Colorless or slightly yellow.

Odor: Slightly odor and taste which is bland at first.

Solubility: Soluble in alcohol Soluble in petroleum spirit.

Uses:  

Castor oil is an oral laxative and is used as a purgative.  It has a soothing application to the conjunctiva and alleys irritation due to foreign bodies in the eye. It used externally for its emollient effect. 

Storage:  

At temperature not exceeding 15 °c.

Packing:

Bottles 60, 100, and 250 ml.
