Clove Oil

Physical Properties:

Color: Clear colorless or pale yellow volatile oil.

Odor: With Characteristic odor and taste.

Solubility: Soluble in 1 in 2 of alcohol 70%.

It is darkens and thickens with age and exposure to air.

Uses:

 Clove oil is a carminative for the treatment of flatulent colic. Also used as a flavoring agent.  It is applied externally to produce local anesthesia so it is used as domestic remedy for toothache.

 Storage:  

At room temperature does not exceeding 25 °c.

Packing:

Bottles containing 10 ml.
