Paraffin Oil

Properties:

It is Colorless, odorless liquid. Insoluble in water, sparingly soluble in alcohol, soluble in chloroform and ether.

Uses:

 Acts as lubricant. It is used orally in the symptomatic treatment of constipation. Also it is used as an ingredient of ointment bases.

Storage:  

Store in airtight containers protected from light and heat.

Packing:

Bottles containing 60 ml.
