Composition: Contain salicylic acid 3 gm, Benzoic acid 6 gm, in an ointment base. Indications: -Salicylic acid is
Keratolytic; and used in treatment of hyperkeratosis and scaling skin such as dandruff, dermatitis, psoriasis and
acne. -High concentration of salicylic acid can be used in conjunction with other agents such as benzoic acid for treatment of taenia (fungicidal).
Contra-Indications: Compounds containing salicylates should not be used
for long time and should be used with care to patients with peripheral
circulation disorder and diabetics. Packing:
