Flumequine  10%    W.S.P

Composition:

 Each 100 gram powder contains 10 gram Flumequine.

Indications:

 Infections caused by Bacteria susceptible to Flumequine, particulary Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis and Pasteurellosis in calves and poultry.

Dosage & Administrations:

Poultry: 12Mg/ kg body weight.

Preventive: 0.5 gm./1 liter  drinking water during the first 10 days of life.

Curative:1 gm./1 liter of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Calves: 6gm / 50 kg body weight, twice daily for 3-5 days. 

Side - effects:

  Have not been observed at the recommended dosages. 

Contra - indications:

 Administration to animals with serious hepatic disorders.

Drug interactions:

The simultaneous administration of Flumequine with trimethoprim, sulfonamides, furazolidone, phenylbutazone and hydrocortisone may accelerate the excretion of Flumequine.

Precautions & warnings:

 Medicated milk replacer should be consumed within 12 hours.

Withdrawal Times:

* Edible tissues: 8 days

* eggs: 4 days
